Philosophy

I believe good interior design heals.

My approach combines the expertise of interior design with scientific principles to create homes that promote wellness.

  • Biophilic Design

is an approach to architecture and interior design that seeks to bring nature into built environments. It includes elements such as living walls, natural light, landscapes, plants, water features, and more. The idea behind this philosophy is that by bringing nature indoors, people will feel more connected with their environment and be more productive overall. This type of design has been used for centuries in various cultures around the world. In modern times, biophilic design has become increasingly popular as researchers have discovered its numerous benefits on physical and mental well-being.

  • Color Psychology

is the study of how colors affect human behavior and emotions. By understanding the psychology behind different colors, you can create a space that not only looks beautiful, but can positively impact your mood and quality of life.

  • Ergonomics

is the study of how to make tools and spaces better suited for humans. It is a simple concept that can make a big difference in your home office design. It's all about creating a workspace that is comfortable, efficient, and safe. By focusing on ergonomics, you can prevent work-related MSDs (musculoskeletal disorders) such as back pain, neck strain, and carpal tunnel syndrome. By paying attention to the design details, you can create a workspace that promotes good health and productivity.

  • Lean Six Sigma Tool: 5S

is an approach to home and/or workplace organization that helps reduce waste and optimize productivity. The five steps of 5S are sort, set in order, shine, standardize, and sustain. SORT, entails getting rid of all unnecessary items, resulting in a clutter-free living space. SET IN ORDER is the second step and involves arranging the remaining items in a way that makes them easily accessible. The third step, SHINE, is all about cleaning and maintaining your space. Following the fourth step, STANDARDIZE ensures everything is in its designated place, leading to consistency. Finally, SUSTAIN is the fifth step, which involves continually evaluating and improving the previous steps.
